Just three days after the Facebook deal, jio has launched its online portal. jio Mart is an online portal on which customers will be able to place orders from nearby shops.

Reliance recently had a partnership with Facebook. Under this, Facebook reported an investment of Rs 43,574 crore in this Company of India. 

Meanwhile, Reliance has launched its online e-commerce portal JioMart. 

Let's say it is Reliance Retail's e-commerce unit and has been live in some areas of Mumbai at the moment. 

Let's say that between lockdown, jiomart is taking the help of the WhatsApp platform to reach its facilities to the masses.



By starting testing its services, Reliance's jiomart has now prepared to challenge Amazon and Walmart's Flipkart strong. Facebook, on the other hand, hopes that with a partnership with JioMart, WhatsApp will become the primary way for shops to make contact with customers.

Reliance Jio's new WhatsApp-based service JioMart launched and also provides a number for jio customers.

Customers interested in jiomart's services will have to store JioMart's WhatsApp number 8850008000 in their phone's contact. 

Here customers get a link by jiomart for orders. Once the order is placed, the company shares it with a grocery store on WhatsApp.

According to JioMartLite's website, customers are then given a notification of the order and a detailed store detail is given.


Reliance's official statement has not come at present. Reliance Retail had introduced JioMart in January this year on the basis of pilot testing in Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Kalyan areas of Maharashtra.


Reliance Industries has said that due to the new partnership between Reliance Jio platform, Reliance Retail, and WhatsApp, customers will soon have their own/more. 

"Easy access to nearby grocery stores" You will be able to transact in JioMart using WhatsApp to get and get products and services in their homes.
